One of our core competencies is the production of rotor and stator laminations from electrical sheets, stacking and subsequent laser welding or baking to form rotor and stator stacks. Precise laser cutting and welding in the micrometer range produces magnetic cores that are essential for energy generation and conversion in transformers, electric generators, micromotors and electric drives. Innovative micro-precision machining - an alternative to conventional processes
As a highlight, we will be presenting our water-jet guided laser process - an alternative to wire erosion, grinding and abrasive water-jet cutting for electrically non-conductive materials. This process combines the advantages of conventional laser processing, such as high precision and speed, while at the same time reducing the disadvantages, such as thermal damage to the material and the usually conical cutting edges.
