The following processes are used for processing high-performance ceramics (aluminum oxide, aluminum nitride, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride), whether as thin-film or thick-film substrates, as well as glass and silicon:

  • Laser fine cutting: clean cut edges without reworking thanks to modern CO2 laser technology
  • Laser structuring: Micromachining of complex surface structures on three-dimensional objects with innovative USP laser technology
  • Laser scribing: Insertion of scribe lines for mechanical separation of the payload in the individual components for the production of circuit carriers
  • Laser drilling: contactless and rework-free micro-drilling of precision holes, so-called vias, using USP laser technology
  • Wafer dicing: extremely precise separation of wafers and substrates with exact edge quality using mechanical cut-off grinding (sawing)

With laser marking, a particularly safe, fast and sustainable method of marking components without contact and without damaging the material, a permanent data matrix or QR code can then be applied to the respective component, which later guarantees complete traceability of the respective component.
