On September 12, 2024, we received a special honor at the first award ceremony of the East Thuringia Chamber of Industry and Commerce's award “Companies in responsibility”.
With a special award, the IHK Ostthüringen honors the commitment of companies that distinguish themselves through exemplary social responsibility, sustainable management and ethical action.
Under the patronage of former German President Prof. Dr. Horst Köhler, LCP Laser-Cut-Processing GmbH and 2 other companies that are not only economically successful but also assume social and ecological responsibility were honored.
Managing Director Daniel Störzner was visibly delighted to accept the award for 3rd prize at the IHK training center in Gera on Thursday evening and expressed his thanks.
For us, entrepreneurial success means implementing sustainable business practices, assuming social responsibility and at the same time integrating ecological aspects into our daily activities.
This award is both a confirmation of our efforts and an incentive to further expand our commitment.

- Production building at Heinrich-Hertz-Str. 16 with environmentally friendly heating and cooling supply based 100% on renewable energy sources
> Participation in the Thuringian Sustainability Agreement (NAThüringen)
- Participant in the sustainability agreement for sustainable management and in the further development and implementation of the Thuringian sustainability strategy since 2019
Involvement in other areas (location promotion/sponsoring/research & development)
> We are a founding member and board member of TRIDELTA CAMPUS Hermsdorf e.V.
- since 2017, involvement in the location initiative to strengthen and promote Hermsdorf as a high-tech location
> We promote regional sport
- since the 2023/2024 sports season, we have been the exclusive long-term sponsor of the 1. women's team and the B-youth girls' handball team of SV Hermsdorf e.V. and are committed to the sustainable promotion of young talent
> We are constantly researching and developing laser technology for the future
- own R&D departments and cooperation with renowned universities and institutes in the field of laser material processing in various projects
